How can we access and harvest deeper human wisdom in a time of accelerating technology?
WELCOME to the Art of HARVESTING meaningful conversations training.
"How can we access and harvest deeper human wisdom in a time of accelerating technology?"
Join us for a 2-day immersive training in The Art of Harvesting - a core practice within the Art of Hosting that helps groups collect insights, reveal patterns, make meaning visible, and translate collective intelligence into tangible outcomes and wiser actions. Harvesting is what helps a meaningful conversation live beyond the moment. It turns dialogue into something that can be seen, shared, understood, and acted upon - whether through words, visuals, stories, frameworks, collective reflection, or embodied expression.
In this training we will explore how to harvest both:
-
The tangible - Key insights, ideas, decisions, themes, and next steps
-
The intangible - Underlying patterns, emerging questions, shifts in energy, silent wisdom, and what is trying to emerge
Together we will practice the art of making collective learning, meaning-making, and outcomes visible and actionable, while cultivating our capacity to sense the whole learning ecology and embody the stories, patterns, and deeper realities emerging in our shared work.
WHY HARVESTING?
Harvesting is much more than taking notes or documenting outcomes.
It is the practice of making sense of what happens in a group, capturing the essence of what matters, and shaping it into forms that can inform future action.
Good harvesting helps groups:
-
See the bigger picture
-
recognize patterns and emerging themes
-
make collective learning visible
-
deepen shared understanding
-
create meaningful outputs that can guide next steps
-
connect conversation to action
In times of complexity and rapid change, harvesting becomes an essential capacity: it helps us transform participation into wisdom, and wisdom into action.
This training offers both practical methods and deeper practice - developing your ability to sense, capture, and communicate what is unfolding in participatory spaces.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
This training is for anyone who works with groups, hosts conversations, or seeks to make sense of complexity: leaders, facilitators, change agents, and those curious about the deeper layers of meaning-making. It is a great integration for anyone who has previously attended an "Art of hosting / Art of Participatory Leadership" 3-day training.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:
-
Practical tools & methods for harvesting individual and collective insights
-
Greater skills in capturing both visible outcomes & subtle emerging dynamics
-
New ways to make learning, meaning, and outcomes tangible and accessible
-
Clarity on how harvesting can support wiser decisions and meaningful action
-
